Dana Henry ’91

Mr. Henry is a Ben Franklin alum (’91) and has engaged in community and legal advocacy as a civil litigator in the State of Louisiana since 2000 in the primary areas of education law, contracts, torts, juvenile law and family law. Additionally, Mr. Henry has worked professionally as a management consultant supporting the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, City Director at Stand for Children, a national education advocacy organization, and Vice-President of Education and Youth Development for the Urban League of Louisiana. Also, Mr. Henry has worked as an adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Phoenix and Herzing University facilitating lectures in Business Law, Contracts, and Torts. Mr. Henry currently serves on the New Orleans Public Library Board of Directors and the City Park Conservancy Board of Directors. Mr. Henry is a graduate of Howard University (’96) in Washington D.C. and the Southern University Law Center (’99) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. And he is the father of two (2) Ben Franklin alums, Gabriel (’23) and Preston (’25).
